I capped off six years of living and traveling in Latin America by getting swept into writing and writing and writing for VivaTravel. Back at home faced with the prospect of landing a regular gig, I kept a bit of time for Viva. I write about nature, environmental issues and travel for magazines, ezines and nonprofits. From the jungles to obscure PreColumbian ruins, the Galapagos to Chiloe, from dinosaur and mammoth fossils to Spanish chapels and cathedrals, I schlepped my family ---three kids now 11, 8 and 3 and ever tolerant and enthusiastic road warrior husband Tim all over South America. Kids put the adventure in travel no matter where you go.(Fortunately, Tim is usually along to handle the fallout.)
